About Saiho-ji
It is also called Kokedera, is one of Kyoto's Unesco World Heritage Sites. Access to this sanctuary requires a reservation made well ahead of time via mail. Kokedera was initially the site of Prince Shotoku's estate before turning into a sanctuary in the Nara Period. Here you can visit with your family members.
In 1339, the sanctuary was revamped and changed over into a Zen sanctuary under the cleric Muso Soseki. Muso is additionally credited with making Kokedera's greenhouses. Kokedera offers the one of a kind open door for guests to take an interest in a portion of the sanctuary's religious exercises.
