About Ryugasaki
Ryugasaki is a city located in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. As of September 2015, the metropolis had an expected population of 78,666, and a population density of a thousand humans in keeping with km². Its overall location is 78.55 rectangular kilometres. The call Ryugasaki may be traced again to 1182 when the samurai clan ruling the territory adopted Ryugasaki " as their family name. Though at the beginning part of the Sendai Domain, the place joined Miyazaku Prefecture in 1869 earlier than merging with Ibaraki Prefecture in 1875.
The metropolis of Ryugasaki was created with the status quo of the municipalities gadget on April 1, 1889. The town was fashioned on March 20, 1954, while the aforementioned town merged with: Nareshiba, Omiya, Yabara, Nagato, Kawarashiro and Kitamonma. In February 1955, the town grew to its present size whilst a percentage of Takasu merged with the city. In 1974, the metropolis followed the Swan, the Pinus, and Platycodon grandiflorus as its city symbols for fowl, tree and flower respectively.
