About Ota City Folk Museum

The Ota City Folk Museum offers a large group of displays identified with the physical and cultural history of Ota Ward. On the ground floor, set aside a voyage back in opportunity to the early hints of settlement in the region, with stoneware shards and other recouped antiques. A story delineate the area and part of Ota's water system framework, while a show of outfits identified with hundreds of years old rain moves lights up an adjacent corner. An extensive kite lingers over the whole room, a brilliant incorporation that speaks to one of Ota's neighborhood celebrations.
On the second floor, an expansive segment of the displays are devoted to the authors who used to live in Ota Ward in the late Showa and early Taisho Periods, gaining the area the moniker of Magome Writers' Village. Life stories of the authors and duplicates of a portion of their more striking works are in plain view, and a bunch of dioramas of the journalists' habitations. Adjacent, guests can get a hands-on take a gander at the family room of an area home amid the Showa Period. The room adjacent exhibits the significance of nori development in Ota. The historical center holds exceptional displays, going from archeological disclosures to popular woodblock specialists who have connections to the nearby neighborhood.
