Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium

The Okinawa Churaumi Aquariumis arranged inside the Ocean Expo Park in Okinawa, Japan. It regarded its 20 millionth visitor on 30 March 2010 and is a person from the Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums JAZA. It was the greatest aquarium on the planet until the point that the moment that it was outflanked by the Georgia Aquarium in 2005. The aquarium has the theme of "Experience the Okinawan Sea".

In 1975, the World's Exposition or World's Fair was held in Okinawa, Japan at the Ocean Expo Park. A brief timeframe later, the entertainment focus began to lose tourism and it was assumed that another aquarium would help revive the domain and watch Okinawa's marine tradition. The aquarium was arranged by Yukifusa Kokuba and was opened on 1 November 2002.
