Oi

Oi is a city located in Fukui Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 June 2018, the town had an estimated populace of 8,102 and a populace density of 63 persons per km². The total location of the town become 212.19 rectangular kilometres 81.93 squaremi. It is one of the few Hiragana cities in Japan. Oi is part of historic Wakasa Province. During the Edo duration, the region became part of the holdings of Obama Domain. Following the Meiji recuperation, it changed into organised into a part of Oi District in Fukui Prefecture.
