About Nagahama
Nagahama is a city situated in Shiga Prefecture, Japan on the northeastern shore of Lake Biwa. The downtown area was created and renamed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi when Hideyoshi moved the focal point of his organization from Odani Castle. Kunitomo, the upper east of the downtown area, had been known for the creation of arquebuses and weapons since 1544. As of October 1, 2016, the city has an expected populace of 119,043 and a populace thickness of 170 people for every km².
The complete region is 680.79 km². The present city is currently verifiably situated inside three previous regions; Sakata District, Higashiazai District and Ika District. Nagahama used to be known as Imahama , yet Toyotomi Hideyoshi renamed it Nagahama for Oda Nobunaga.
