About Mori
Mori is a metropolis located in Oshima Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. The total area of the metropolis is 368.27 rectangular kilometres 142.19 sq.mi. As of September 2016, the town had a population of 16,299, and a populace density of 44 people in step with km². Mount Komagatake, an active volcano, is located to the east of Mori, and plenty of the town is part of Onuma Quasi-National Park. Mori is the house of ikameshi, a squid and rice dish invented within the mid-twentieth century.
Mori become settled early in Japanese history as evidenced by the Jomon-duration archaeological websites now targeted as the Washinoki Site.
