Miyagi
About Miyagi
Miyagi is a prefecture in the Tohoku area of Japan. The capital is Sendai. Miyagi Prefecture is in the focal piece of Tohoku, confronting the Pacific Ocean, and contains Tohoku's biggest city, Sendai. There are high mountains on the west and along the upper east coast, yet the focal plain around Sendai is genuinely expansive. Matsushima is known as one of the three most grand perspectives on Japan, with a narrows brimming with 260 little islands shrouded in pine forests.
As of March 2011, the prefecture created 4.7% of Japan's rice, 23% of clams, and 15.9% of sauries. In July 2011, the Japanese government chose to boycott all shipments of meat dairy cattle from upper east Miyagi Prefecture over feelings of dread of radioactive contamination. This has since been cancelled. Sendai was the mansion town of the daimyo Date Masamune. The remaining parts of Sendai Castle remain on a slope over the city. Miyagi Prefecture brags one Japan's three biggest sights. Matsushima, the pine-clad islands, speck the waters off the bank of the prefecture.
