About Meriken Park
Based on an outcropping of recovered land, the recreation center is canvassed in green garden and open yards specked with a gathering of present day workmanship establishments and wellsprings. It is home to a portion of the city's more notable contemporary engineering, for example, the red Kobe Port Tower and the Kobe Maritime Museum.
The stop was crushed by the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake, yet has now turned into a well known spot for local people and voyagers once more. A little remembrance in the recreation center honors the numerous casualties who were murdered in the port amid the quake. A short segment of harmed waterfront has been left unrepaired as an indication of the seismic tremor's enormous damaging force.
