About Koraku en
Koraku-en is a Japanese garden located in Okayama, Okayama Prefecture. It is one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, along with Kenroku-en and Kairaku-en. Korakuen was worked in 1700 by Ikeda Tsunamasa, master of Okayama. The garden achieved its cutting edge frame in 1863. In 1687, the daimyo Ikeda Tsunamasa requested Tsuda Nagatada to start development of the garden. It was finished in 1700 and has held its unique appearance to the present day, with the exception of a couple of changes by different daimyos. The garden was initially called Koen "later garden" since it was worked after Okayama Castle.
Nonetheless, since the garden was worked in the soul of "sen-yu-koraku" "lament sooner than others, appreciate later than others", the name was changed to Korakuen in 1871. The Korakuen is one of only a handful few daimyo cultivates in the territories where chronicled change can be watched, because of the numerous Edo time frame works of art and Ikeda family records and reports deserted. The garden was utilized as a place for engaging imperative visitors and furthermore as a spa of sorts for daimyos, albeit general people could visit on certain days. In 1884, proprietorship was exchanged to Okayama Prefecture and the garden was opened to people in general.
