About Kokura Castle
Kokura Castle in Kitakyushu, Japan was worked by Hosokawa Tadaoki in 1602. It was the property of the Ogasawara family somewhere in the range of 1632 and 1860. The stronghold was torched in 1866 amid the war between the Kokura and Choshu factions. Mori Ogai was based at the mansion at the turn of the twentieth century, when it was an army installation. The keep was remade in 1959, and the chateau was completely reestablished in 1990. The Seicho Matsumoto exhibition hall and palace cultivate were opened in 1998. The old Japanese-style pre-Brunton beacon from Shirasu is in the manor grounds.
