About Kitahiroshima
Kitahiroshima is a city positioned in Ishikari, Hokkaido, Japan. Kita is the Japanese word for north, so the town's call, Kitahiroshima-shi, is translated as "North-Hiroshima city" or "metropolis of North-Hiroshima”. As of April 30, 2017, the town has an predicted populace of 58,918, with 27,221 families, and the density of 500 men and women per km². The overall area is 118.54 rectangular kilometres. On September 1, 1996, Hiroshima metropolis was reorganized to promote city popularity, but Hiroshima metropolis already existed, on the west of Honshu island.
Therefore, Hiroshima became renamed to Kitahiroshima on that day. 1884: 25 households, 107 human beings migrated from Hiroshima. 1894: Hiroshima village become founded. 1968: Hiroshima village became Hiroshima town. 1996: Hiroshima city have become Hiroshima town and was renamed Kitahiroshima. It is accessed through routes 36, 274 and the freeway interchange inside the west. In 1981, the pass of direction 274 became opened and the pass of path 36 changed into opened in 1986. The urban sprawl of the Sapporo area in the western part of the metropolis is bypassed.
