About Kirin Yokohama Beer Village
Lager was first fermented in Japan in 1869 in Yokohama. Around then, William Copeland, a Norwegian-American, built up Spring Valley Bottling works and began to fabricate brew at Yamate 123 now the area of the Kitakata Primary School. Kirin assumed control over the bottling works and has been growing its business from that point forward—first in Japan, and now on an overall premise.
Kirin Yokohama Lager Town is one of nine manufacturing plants of the Japan Kirin Gathering Chitose, Sendai, Toride, Yokohama, Nagoya, Shiga, Kobe, Okayama, and Fukuoka. The greater part of the processing plants offer free visit and-tastings that last around a hour. Kirin Brew.
Town in Yokohama is a 7-minute stroll from Nama-mugi Station on the Keihin-Kyuko line. The visits are given to gatherings of between two to 100 individuals at regular intervals, beginning at 10 AM and completing at 4:30 PM.
