About Kasumigaura
Kasumigaura is a city situated in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. As of September 2015, the city had an expected populace of 41,715, and a populace thickness of 266 people for each km². Its absolute territory is 156.60 square kilometers. The city takes its name from the adjacent lake, Lake Kasumigaura. The city has the refinement of having the longest name in Japan as far as the quantity of characters utilized, together with Ichikikushikino, Kagoshima Prefecture and Tsukubamirai.
A great part of the city is inside the fringes of the Suigo-Tsukuba Quasi-National Park. It was raised to town status on April 1, 1997 and was renamed Kasumigaura. The town of Kasumigaura converged with the neighboring town of Chiyoda on March 28, 2005, turning into the city of Kasumigaura. Kasumigaura has basically an agrarian economy, with lotus root, and different organic products as the real money crops.
