About Kaigungo Park
This park is found south-west of Naha City in the Tomigusuku uplands and offers a view on the East China Sea, the southern metropolitan region the distance to Shuri Castle. Amid the season of the Shuri Dynasty period, it was where there was found "Hibanmui", a reference point fire that would the landing of boats from China and Satsuma.
Amid the last phase of World War II, the Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters was set up there, subsequently it turned into an extraordinary battleground site. Today, it has been rebuilt as a previous combat zone stop that sends messages of peace to the world from Okinawa, a place for trades and unwinding that is generally valued by vacationers and natives alike.
