Iwamotoyama Park

The feature of this characteristic stop is the 193 meter high Mt. Iwamoto situated in the western piece of the city. The recreation center highlights sprawling yards, a Japanese plum plant, and a climbing course.

The post point offers perspectives of the Fuji River toward the north, the Izu Peninsula from Suruga Bay toward the south, the holy Mt. Fuji and the pinnacles of the Southern Alps toward the north. Since the recreation center is outstanding for its cherry blooms, celebrations and different occasions are held amid the blossoming season.

This spot is fabulous particularly, in late-winter when plums sprout, and in spring when cherry blooms blasts into blossoms, and is swarmed with numerous individuals taking photos of Mt. Fuji and the blossoms. This stop has a yard field, plum tree gardens, and climbing trails, which furnish chances to draw near with rich nature.
