About Hyuga
Hyuga is a port metropolis in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. The town turned into founded on April 1, 1951, with the joint merger of Tomishima Town and Iwawaki Village. As of February 2014, the city has an estimated populace of 63,676 making it the 4th biggest town in Miyazaki Prefecture. It has a population density of 189 folks per km² and a complete area of 336.29 km2. On February 25, 2006, the town of Togo from Higashiusuki District was merged into Hyuga.
Hyuga is a port city regarded for the production of Go stones and for beaches, many of which can be popular browsing spots. Archaeologists working in Hyuga have mentioned finding artifacts inclusive of stone equipment and stone piles from as tons as 30,000 years in the past, the Japanese Paleolithic length. There is also evidence of inhabitation at some stage in the Jomon length. Archaeological digs uncovering pottery from this time period continue nowadays in elements of the city.
