Hayama

Hayama is a city positioned in Kanagawa Prefecture, on primary Honshu, Japan. As of June 2012, the town had an expected populace of 32,835, and a density of 1,920 in line with km2. The overall area is 17.06 km2. Since 1894, the Japanese Imperial Family has maintained a house in Hayama, the beach Hayama Imperial Villa. During the Edo period, all of jap Sagami Province became tenryo territory underneath direct control of the Tokugawa shogunate, and administered by numerous hatamoto.

During the cadastral reform of the early Meiji duration in 1889, the region was reorganized into Hayama village via the merger of six hamlets. It become expanded to metropolis repute in 1925. Despite its lack of rail connections, Hayama is now mostly a bed room community for Tokyo and Yokohama and, due to its mild climate, a popular hotel vicinity with a marina. Agricultural produce consists of shiitake mushrooms, and a brand of red meat known as Hayama-gyu.
