About Gotsu
Gotsu is a city situated in Shimane Prefecture, Japan. It is the littlest and least crowded city in Shimane Prefecture. The city was established on April 1, 1954. Starting at 2017, the city has an expected populace of 24,009 and a populace thickness of 89 people for each km². The all out zone is 158.41 km². The City's economy is basically centered around business. The city lies on the ocean, and offers lovely and uncrowded shorelines. The Gonokawa River moves through the city, from the mountains to the ocean.
The stream is the site of celebrations, firecrackers, and phenomenal angling. Sitting above Gotsu City is Hoshitaka Mountain, or "Star Mountain", so named for the star design cut into the substance of the mountain. As indicated by Gotsu legend, the star was framed by a meteor that had fallen numerous years prior. A bit of this meteor was spared, and a unique holy place was worked at the foot of the mountain to respect the meteor. In the winter, snowfall on the mountain makes a lovely star-molded example, obvious from anyplace in the city.
In the spring, white azaleas sprout to shape a white star, while the territory flanking the star remains green. In the late spring, in festivity of the Japanese Obon Festival, the star is lit up during the evening. Under the support of the Japanese Ministry of Education and the Jet Program, Gotsu has four local English speakers every year, who instruct English in the zone's state funded schools. Gotsu's Sister City in the United States is Corona, California situated close Los Angeles.
