About Fushimi Inari-taisha

Fushimi Inari Shrine is a critical Shinto holy place in southern Kyoto. It is acclaimed for it’s a great many vermilion torii doors, which straddle a system of trails behind its primary structures. The trails lead into the lush woods of the hallowed Mount Inari, which remains at 233 meters and has a place with the sanctuary grounds.

Fushimi Inari is the most critical of a few a large numbers of hallowed places committed to Inari, the Shinto divine force of rice. Foxes are believed to be Inari's detachments, bringing about numerous fox statues over the holy place grounds. Fushimi Inari Shrine has antiquated causes, originating before the capital's turn to Kyoto in 794.
