About Daigo
Daigo is a town situated in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. As of September 2015, the town had an expected populace of 17,980, and a populace thickness of 55.2 people per km². Its absolute zone is 325.76 km². Situated in northwestern Ibaraki Prefecture, Daigo is circumscribed toward the north by Fukushima Prefecture and toward the west by Tochigi Prefecture. There are numerous onsen hot springs situated in Daigo. Daigo town was made with the foundation of the districts framework on April 1, 1889.
It was raised to town status on July 20, 1891. On March 31, 1955, the towns of Yorigami, Fukuroda, Miyagawa, Kurosawa, Namase, Kamiogawa, Shimoogawa and Murotono converged with Daigo. A few structures, including the kondo and the five-story pagoda, are National Treasures of Japan. The sanctuary has 18 explicitly assigned national fortunes, including the structures and different fills in too; and the sanctuary holds a few dozen vital social resources.
Divider works of art at the sanctuary were the subject of scholarly research which earned the Imperial Prize of the Japan Academy in 1960. As a component of the "Memorable Monuments of Ancient Kyoto", it is assigned as a World Heritage Site.
