About Butsuryuji
Just a part of the ringer now survives, protected at the sanctuary; the engraving is known from duplicates, including a fourteenth-century form now housed at Kanazawa Bunko.
A Map of Mount in a similar accumulation, dating to 1314, finds Kenne's grave at the sanctuary, it is by and large related to the Butsuryuji uncommon stone chamber with a pyramidal roof.
Although the present structures are later, a statue of Kenne still stands adjacent to those of Kukai and Juichimen Kannon on the sacrificial table.
It creates the impression that the two were here and there befuddled or conflated: a mid-eighteenth-century reference book alludes to the previous as Nyonin Kuya or "Kuyasan for Women", a designation generally held for the last mentioned, alluding to the prohibition on female appearance, loose in 1872.
