Aichi
About Aichi
Aichi is a prefecture of Japan situated in the Chubu region. The district of Aichi is otherwise called the Tokai area. The capital is Nagoya. It is the focal point of the Chukyo metropolitan area. Originally, the district was partitioned into the two regions of Owari and Mikawa. Situated close to the focal point of the Japanese fundamental island of Honshu, Aichi Prefecture faces the Ise and Mikawa Bays toward the south and fringes Shizuoka Prefecture toward the east, Nagano Prefecture toward the upper east, Gifu Prefecture toward the north, and Mie Prefecture toward the west.
It gauges 106 km east to west and 94 km south to north and structures a noteworthy segment of the Nobi Plain. With a territory of 5,153.81 km2 it represents roughly 1.36% of the absolute surface zone of Japan. The most noteworthy spot is Chausuyama at 1,415 m above ocean level. Outstanding destinations in Aichi incorporate the Meiji Mura outside compositional gallery in Inuyama, which jam notable structures from Japan's Meiji and Taisho periods, including the recreated entryway of Frank Lloyd Wright's old Imperial Hotel which initially remained in Tokyo from 1923 to 1967.
