About Villa La Magia
The Villa La Magia in Quarrata is one of the twelve Medici homes in Tuscany pronounced a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Initially a pinnacle house having a place with the Panciatichi family from Pistoia in the 1300s, it goes to the Medici in 1583 when it was obtained by Grand Duke Francesco and was remodeled by the court modeler Bernardo Buontalenti, which included a simulated lake implied for angling and chasing wild ducks; the lake never again exists today yet it can be found in the lunette tormented by Giusto Utens in 1599.
La Magia was likewise utilized as a beginning stage for chases in the close-by Barco Reale Mediceo, the Medici hold around Montalbano.
