About San Michele in Foro
San Michele in Foro is a Roman Catholic basilica church in Lucca in Tuscany, central Italy, built over the ancient Roman forum. It is committed to Archangel Michael. The congregation is said without precedent for 795 as promotion foro in the gathering. It was reconstructed after 1070 by will of Pope Alexander II. Outstanding is the facade, from the thirteenth century, with an expansive arrangement of models and decorates, ious of which revamped in the nineteenth century.
