About Piazza Venezia

It is the focal center point of Rome, Italy, in which a few lanes meet, including the Via dei Fori Imperiali and the Via del Corso. It takes its name from the Palazzo Venezia, worked by the Venetian Cardinal, Pietro Barbo close by the congregation of Saint Mark, the supporter holy person of Venice.

It filled in as the international safe haven of the Republic of Venice in Rome. One side of the Piazza is the site of Italy's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Altare della Patria, some portion of the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, the first ruler of Italy. The piazza or square is at the foot of the Capitoline Hill and alongside Trajan's Forum.

The fundamental conduit, the Viale di Fori Imperiali starts there and leads past the Roman Forum to the Colosseum. In 2009, amid unearthings amidst the square for the development of the Rome C Metro Line, stays off the ruler Hadrian's Athenaeum were uncovered.
