Peschiera Borromeo

Peschiera Borromeo is a comune inside the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 12 kilometres southeast of Milan. It received the honorary title of town with a presidential decree on August 6, 1988. Peschiera Borromeo borders the following municipalities: Milan, Pioltello, Segrate, Rodano, Pantigliate, San Donato Milanese, Mediglia. The land become owned through the House of Borromeo of San Miniato in the 14^th century and likely earlier. Peschiera Borromeo's principal attraction is the Borromeo Castle, constructed in 1437 by way of Vitaliano Borromeo.
