About Nicastro Cathedral

Nicastro Cathedral is the Roman Catholic cathedral in the city of Nicastro inside the province of Catanzaro, within the Calabria vicinity of southern Italy. A church at the web site dates probably to Byzantine technology, which become destroyed at some point of Saracen raids previous to the year. The Normans in 1094 erected a church following Latin rites. This cathedral changed into destroyed by way of an earthquake on March 7, 1683.
