About Murano Glass Museum
Murano Glass Museum is a exhibition hall on the historical backdrop of glass, including the world-popular Murano glass and is located on the island of Murano, only north of Venice. The gallery is set inside the Gothic-style Palazzo Giustinian, once the habitation of the religious administrators of Torcello.
In 1659 it turned into the habitation of Bishop Marco Giustinian who later bought the property and gave it to the Torcello diocese. Today the historical center is a piece of the Venice Civic Museums network.
The exhibition hall's gathering, a standout amongst the most complete in the world and laid out sequentially on the primary floor of the historical center, incorporates works dating from the Roman Empire to the present day.
Guests may see numerous essential pieces including creations by the Barovier and Toso glass organization and glass materials designed by Carlo Scarpa in the late 1930s.
