Mondovi is a metropolis and comune in Piedmont, northern Italy, approximately 80 kilometres from Turin. The area round it is referred to as the Monregalese. The city, positioned at the Monte Regale hill, is divided into several rioni: Piazza, Breo, Pian della Valle, Carassone, Altipiano, Borgato and Rinchiuso, lower, next to the Ellero movement, developed from the 18th century when industries evolved in Mondovì and while it became reached via the railway.
