Molteno

Molteno is a comune and a hill-top city within the Province of Lecco in the Italian vicinity Lombardy, placed approximately 35 kilometres northeast of Milan and approximately 11 kilometres southwest of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,206 and an area of 3.2 rectangular kilometres. Molteno turned into a Roman settlement, but it is not known through what call the settlement become referred to as, nor whether the origins of the call "Molteno" stretch lower back that some distance.
