About Giardini di Augusto
The Gardens of Augustus initially known by the name of Krupp Gardens, are professional flowerbeds on the island of Capri, Campania, Italy.
The gardens was built up by the German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp in the mid twentieth century to construct his manor in Capri.
At first the patio nurseries went up against the name of "Krupp Gardens", a title held until 1918, when the greenhouses were renamed "Greenery enclosures of Augustus", the title they are known as today.
The gardens, composed in patios ignoring the ocean, can be viewed as a demonstration of the rich verdure of the island of Capri, with different elaborate plants and blossoms, for example, geraniums, dahlias and floor brushes.
