Gardone Val Trompia

Gardone Val Trompia is an Italian town of 11,561 inhabitants inside the province of Brescia, inside the middle of Val Trompia, in Lombardy. In 1927 the municipalities of Inzino and Magno, currently hamlets, have been aggregated to the municipality of Gardone Val Trompia. On 17 September 2001 in Gardone Val Trompia the title of metropolis became conferred, assigned through the President of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi via virtue of its historical and civic importance. From 2002 in reality the golden wall crown with 5 towers representing the title of metropolis become added to the coat of arms of Gardone Val Trompia.

In November 1928 the Presidency of the Council of Ministers wrote that the Duce could propose to the King the concession of the subsequent coat of hands of red, with rifles with bayonet grafted and located on the pass of Saint Andrew, supported via an anvil and a hammer positioned inside the pole, all natural. It is as clear of iconography referable to the strong and historic way of life of the triumplino center. The civic banner as an alternative changed into granted by way of the Araldic Consulta in January 1938.
