About Fiorano Modenese
Fiorano Modenese is an Italian metropolis of 17,005 inhabitants inside the province of Modena, in Emilia Romagna, located south of the capital. The municipality is a part of the Union of Municipalities of the Ceramic District together with the municipalities of Formigine, Frassinoro, Maranello, Montefiorino, Palagano, Prignano Sulla Secchia and Sassuolo. In the Nineteen Forties, Fernando Malavolti performed excavations within the Fornaci Carani place, which caused the invention of a critical Neolithic settlement that gave its name to the most ancient section of the Neolithic in Italy as regards Central Emilia the Fiorano Culture.
