About Favara
Favara is a city and comune of south relevant Sicily, Italy inside the province of Agrigento, 8 kilometers north east of Agrigento by means of avenue, with which it forms a conurbation. The metropolis has a considerable agricultural change and there are sulfur and different mines within the community. It is locally well known for the Easter Lamb a nearby pastry produced there from almonds and pistachios. The first signs of human habitation of the place may be dated to the past due copper age 2400 to 1990, with monochrome purple pottery in the Malpasso fashion located in a crumple contrada Ticchiara.
An excavation of later burial sites 1900 to 1450 from contrada Grazia Vicina has yielded grey achromatic ceramic with connection to the Conca d Oro fashion past due copper age inside the Palermo area and to archaic sorts of the Castelluccio style early Bronze Age in important southern Sicily. Another burial site has been identified in contrada San Vincenzo, which can be dated to the middle Bronze Age round 1450 A.C.
