About Cathedral in Amelia
The Cathedral in Amelia was worked in the second half of the ninth century.
In the seventeenth century it was extremely harmed by flame and reproduced in the Baroque style.
The block façade is pink, while the inside contains important works of art
. A few important altarpieces can likewise be found in the cathedral, as can two be able to essential organs.
Among these are paintings by Federico Zuccari 1539-1609 "Ferrantino Altarpiece", Giovanni Francesco Perini "Last Supper", going back to 1538, a local painter of Amelia sixteenth century, and an artistic creation speaking to the Madonna and Child by supporters of Antoniazzo Romano.
