About The Old City of Akko
The Old City of Akko is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in acknowledgment of the remaining parts of the Crusader town both above and beneath road level and in light of the fact that the city is one of few Ottoman walled towns with fortifications, mosques, khans, and showers, which have been saved.
In Akko, these goals depended on the leftovers of the Crusader structures.
Akko has been widely exhumed and rationed in the course of recent years, with huge scale remodels and reconstructing works occurring over the Old City following the UNESCO acknowledgment which was gotten in 2001.
In that capacity, Akko is still not as produced for sightseers as other antiquated port urban areas, for example, Caesarea and Jaffa.
