About Port of Ashdod
The Port of Ashdod is one in all Israel's two predominant cargo ports. The port is positioned in Ashdod, about forty kilometers south of Tel Aviv, adjacent the mouth of the Lachish River. Its established order drastically enhanced the country's port capacity. It handles the largest quantity of cargo containers annually of all Israeli ports.
