About Mount Carmel National Park
Mount Carmel National Park is Israel's biggest national park, extending over maximum of the Carmel mountain range, and containing over 10,000 hectares of pine, eucalyptus, and cypress wooded area. The park has severa bicycle and strolling paths, dedicated nature reserves, and over 250 archaeological sites inhabited via prehistoric humans. The park is one among the biggest open spaces of northern Israel. It is an ordinary instance of a Mediterranean atmosphere, and includes a wealthy inventory of geological phenomena, prehistoric artifacts, biodiversity and landscapes. In 1996 it became diagnosed by way of UNESCO as a biosphere reserve.
Mount Carmel has been domestic to human habitation for the reason that prehistoric era, and the stays of ancient agreement had been uncovered in caves in the hillsides.
