About Kiryat Shmuel
Kiryat Shmuel was constructed at the sands of Haifa Bay in 1938, by using participants of Hapoel HaMizrachi who wanted to live in a city of a religious Jewish-Orthodox character. The founders rejected a suggestion to construct a small neighbourhood inside Kiryat Haim and selected to start a new town. Initially Kiryat Shmuel turned into an unbiased municipal entity, however in 1952 it become amalgamated into Haifa collectively with Kiryat Haim. Kiryat Shmuel is a neighborhood at the perimeter of the town of Haifa in northern Israel.
