About Kiryat Motzkin
Kiryat Motzkin is a city inside the Haifa District of Israel, 8 kilometres north of the metropolis of Haifa. In 2017 it had a population of 41,440. The town is named after Leo Motzkin, one of the organizers of the First Zionist Congress in 1897. The mayor of the town is Haim Zuri. Kiryat Motzkin was based in 1934, and with the aid of 1935 the first college has been opened. In 1939, the city had a population of about 2,000 and 345 buildings.
