About Israel National Trail
The Israel National Trail, is a hiking route that become inaugurated in 1995. The trail crosses the entire USA of Israel. Its northern end is at Dan, near the Lebanese border within the far north of the US, and it extends to Eilat on the southernmost tip of Israel at the Red Sea, a period of 1,0.5 km. He Israel National Trail has been indexed in National Geographic's 20 maximum "epic trails." It is defined as a trail that "delves into the grand scale of biblical landscapes as well as the regular lives of the present day Israeli.
The Israel National Trail is the brainchild of Avraham Tamir a journalist and hiker who hiked the Appalachian trail inside the past due 70's and Ori Dvir, hiker, educator and one of the founders of The Society for Protection of Nature in Israel.
