About Hamam al-Basha Museum

Hamam al-Basha" was progressed in the direction of the complete of the eighteenth century by Governor of Acre, Jazzar Pasha.
At first it was called "Hama al-Jadid" the new Hamam, however, its name was in this way changed to Hamam al-Basha the Pasha's hamam, to pay tribute to el-Jazzar.
The Turkish shower's advancement was a bit of the difference in Acre in the midst of the Ottoman Period from a bit of calculating town primarily by virtue of al-Jazzar Pasha into a flourishing port city and a significant improvement and trade center.
In the midst of his run, el-Jazzar tried to propel the city in ious and moved ways. Among his accomplishments is the store conductor which drove the well water to the city.
