About Pallas Castle
Pallas Castle is a tower house and National Monument located in County Galway, Ireland. Pallas Castle is placed to the west of Pallas House, 2.8 km south of Tynagh, 1.6 km north of the Duniry River. The fort changed into constructed with the aid of the Burkes c. 1500. In 1574 it changed into owned by using Jonyck Fitzthomas Burke, but after the healing it surpassed to the Nugent Earls of Westmeath.
