About Maynooth
Maynooth is a university city in north County Kildare, Ireland. It is domestic to Maynooth University and St Patrick's College, a Pontifical University and Ireland's most important Roman Catholic seminary. Maynooth is also the seat of the Irish Catholic Bishops' Conference and holds the headquarters of Ireland's biggest development charity, Trocaire. Maynooth is located 24 kilometres west of crucial Dublin. Maynooth is placed on the R148 avenue between Leixlip and Kilcock, with the M4 motorway bypassing the metropolis. Other roads join the metropolis to Celbridge, Clane, and Dunboyne.
Maynooth is also at the Dublin to Sligo rail line and is served by way of a commuter and intercity educate service.
