Labbacallee wedge tomb is a massive pre-historic burial monument, located eight km north-west of Fermoy and a pair of km south-east of Glan really worth, County Cork, Ireland. It is the biggest Irish wedge tomb and dates from kind of 2300 BC. The web site has three big capstones which slope downwards toward the returned, the biggest being 7.8 m lengthy and weighing 10 tones.
The gallery underneath is made of a massive square chamber, with a small one at the back of it, divided through a slab. The gallery is triple-walled, buttressed at the returned via three slabs set parallel to the axis of the tomb. To the front of the gallery are the stays of a massive square unroofed antechamber that's wider than the gallery and separated from it by means of a massive slab. Outside this there was a further row of stones strolling off at an angle, but few of the authentic stones stay.
