Dundalk

Dundalk is the county metropolis of County Louth, Ireland. It is on the Castle Town River, which flows into Dundalk Bay, and is near the border with Northern Ireland, halfway among Dublin and Belfast. It has institutions with the mythical warrior hero Cu Chulainn. The Dundalk vicinity has been inhabited on the grounds that as a minimum 3500 BC at some point of the Neolithic period. A tangible reminder of this early presence can still be seen in the form of the Proleek Dolmen, the eroded remains of a megalithic tomb located inside the Ballymascanlon region to the north of Dundalk. Celtic subculture arrived in Ireland round 500 BC.

According to the mythical historical accounts, the organization settled in North Louth became known as the Conaille Muirtheimne and took their name from Conaill Carnagh, mythical chief of the Red Branch Knights of Ulster.
