About Carlow County Museum
Carlow County Museum is a county museum documenting the history of County Carlow. Located on College Street in Carlow town, the building changed into originally the Presentation Convent which also homes the Carlow Library and Archives. The Museum includes 4 exhibition rooms housing everlasting and brief presentations. The Museum became based by the Carlow Historical & Archaeological Society CHAS, then the Old Carlow Society, in 1973 and became run by means of the Society on a voluntary foundation till 2002.
