About Boyle
Boyle is a metropolis in County Roscommon, Ireland. It is placed on the foot of the Curlew Mountains close to Lough Key within the north of the county. Carrowkeel Megalithic Cemetery, the Drumanone Dolmen and the lakes of Lough Arrow and Lough Gara also are close by. As of 2016, the population of the metropolis became 2,568. On 15 August 1599, the Battle of Curlew Pass between English and Irish forces became fought in the Curlew mountains throughout the Nine Years' War, between an English pressure below Sir Conyers Clifford and a local Irish force led through Aodh Ruadh O Domhnaill.
