About Tall Kayf
Tel Keppe also spelled Tel Kaif, is an Assyrian town in northern Iraq. Its call approach "Hill of Stones" in Syriac. It is positioned inside the Nineveh Governorate, less than eight miles north east of Mosul. The city is a historic farming town together with a densely populated core, surrounded by farm land outside the town. In 1508, Tel Keppe become sacked by Mongols. In 1743, Tel Keppe turned into looted and burned through the armies of the Persian leader Nader Shah.
